CFI Is Now Con-Way Truckload
Logistics Management reports that after five months Contract Freighters Inc. (CFI) has been officially renamed as Con-way Truckload. Con-way completed the $750 million purchase transaction almost 5 months ago and has been merging the two trucking companies during that time. Con-way said in a statment that Con-way Truckload is made up of 2,800 tractors, 8,000 trailers and 3,500 employees. Con-way Truckload is expected to generate $500 million in annual revenues and gives Con-way the ability to handle shipments out of west coast ports of Long Beach and Los Angles
