No Left Lane For Trucks On Florida Turnpike
The South Florida Sun-Sentinel reports today that trucks will be banned from the fast lane of the Florida turnpike starting February 1, 2008. The ban will be enforced on a 40 mile stretch from the Lantana toll plaza near Lake Worth to the Golden Glades interchange in Miami-Dade County. Commuters have been complaining about trucks getting in the way and slowing commute times on the busy highway. Truck drivers say the ban is going to create even more problems.
